Acrylic Clips | How to Style

As many of you already know, we’re big fans of the 2000 era beauty trends. Hair crimpers, butterfly clips, roll-on body glitter? Yes, yes and MAJOR YES! So when acrylic hair clips started making a major comeback in the hair world, we jumped on board quickly. We love wearing them in all different kinds of ways whether its up, down, braids, whatever! Read on to see how we style acrylic clips and make our 13-year-old souls happy 🙂

Style One – The Messy Bun

Start by creating a loose and messy-styled, low-bun with a center part. Pull out a few wispy strands to frame your face. Finish by placing one clip on each side of the part about three inches down and one inch away.

Style Two – Hair Down

Style your hair with loose, beauty waves with either a middle or side part. Nextplace the clips about an inch above the ear, spacing them out by about half an inch.

Style Three – Clips with Braids

Curl the hair in loose, beachy-waves with either a side or middle part. Take about a two-inch section from the top of the head, leaving a few wispy pieces out. Create a braid in each section and secure with two clips meeting in the middle of the back of the head, just below the crown.
