Olive Eyeshadow Look

Letting you girls in on a big secret! This is my ALL TIME favorite makeup product, this shadow is universally flattering and works ALL SEASONS! I’ve talked about it before, so if you’ve been around for a little while you’ve for sure heard me talk about this green eyeshadow. The name is Sumptuous Olive by MAC. I’ll break down how I get the look below!

Step 1: Start with any primer, our fave is forever and always Painterly by MAC

Step 2: Make sure you have a nice eyeshadow brush for a good sweep of all-over color. I got this one a few weeks ago, and it is oh so lovely! Eye Blender Brush – the soft bristles allow you to create a soft look with a seamless application.

Step 3: Apply SUMPTUOUS OLIVE! Give yourself a sweep of color under your bottom lashes as well and all over the top lid! HANG ON…really really reaaaaaaally sad to find out while writing this that MAC discontinued it. DARN. I think it’s going to be okay though because I just ordered what looks like an exact dupe for this shade. It even has the same gold reflects. Here is that color Olive You

Step 4: Pair it with a green eyeliner and make it a monochromatic eye, this one is great STASH by Urban Decay

Step 5, 6, 7, 8: Put on a light foundation or bb cream, some bronzer, a hint of an apricot blush, and finish off with this new warm nude I ADORE – Hepburn Honey

Oh… almost forgot I should mention this hyaluronic skin tint that I’ve been using lately from Hourglass called, Illusion. It is a hydrating and firming foundation that evens out the skin tone, softens imperfections, and boosts moisture levels in the skin. Pearlescent pigments infuse the complexion with a luminous glow. AND if you like a finishing powder. This has been my go-to for 4+ years now. It’s called Ambient Lighting Powder. I use color Luminous Light, but they are truly all beautiful. Each finishing powder captures, diffuses, and softens the look of the skin. The micron-size, color-correcting particles refract light and create transparent coverage, filtering out harsh light and refining the appearance of the skin. You’ll be a major fan, promise. I have majorly textured skin and this really seals the deal on smoothing everything out. 😉
